Siôn Jones did not wake up one morning and decide to sell vans. He did something worse — he spent years working in an industry that made him want to throw things. From Sinclair Volkswagen Swansea to fleet roles at RV and My Big Green Fleet, Siôn saw first-hand how the commercial vehicle industry treated its customers: overpriced stock, shocking aftercare, cookie-cutter finance, and a general attitude of "take it or leave it." Businesses were being let down, and nobody seemed to care.
So he built something better. Sion Jones Commercials was founded on one stubborn belief — that businesses deserve a dealer who actually gives a damn. Every vehicle is hand-sourced. Every deal is built around the customer, not the margin. Every handover comes with the kind of personal service you only get from someone who picks up the phone on a Sunday because they genuinely care.
From a base in Porthcawl, South Wales, Siôn has grown the company into a trusted name across commercial vehicle sales, fleet management, specialist builds, and vehicle finance — serving owner-operators, SMEs, and national fleets across the UK. The SJC Automotive Group now includes Sion Jones Exclusive, Sion Jones Rentals, Sion Jones Used Commercials, Sion Jones Plant Sales, and Sion Jones Prestige. Not bad for a man whose original office was the front seat of a Transit.
